BJP has more flak against Sudarshan

January 10, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 06:33 am IST - Bengaluru:

Continuing the slew of allegations against V.R. Sudarshan, who has been recommended by the government to head the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), the Bharatiya Janata Party has accused him of “abusing his position, proximity and influence” in the allotment of 10.19 acres of tank-bed area for a Trust in which his late wife was a member in 2003.

While the BJP has submitted a memorandum on this to Governor Vajubhai R. Vala, Mr. Sudarshan has denied the allegation stating that he had only forwarded a request from the Trust to the then Revenue Minister, and there was no question of abuse of power.
