Bar licence fee notified

Andhra Pradesh Government has issued orders notifying the annual fee of bar licences for the year 2014-15. The licence fee for the sale of Indian Made Foreign Liquor and Foreign Liquor to be consumed on the licensed premises is fixed at Rs.25 lakh in municipalities with population not exceeding 50,000 and it is Rs.38 lakh in municipalities or corporations with population above 50,000 and not exceeding five lakh.

For the municipalities and corporations with population above five lakh but does not exceed 20 lakh, the licence fee is fixed at Rs.41 lakh, according to the GO.

The licensee would also pay privilege fee at 9 per cent plus VAT on the sale of IMFL and FL when the purchases during the year exceeded six times of the annual licence fee.
