Actor and TDP MLA from Hindupur N. Balakrishna was at it again.

On Tuesday, he allegedly slapped a fan at Hindupur, taking the number of such incidents to three in the last two months.

Mr. Balakrishna, who is on a three-day tour of the constituency, participated in the party’s ‘Intintiki Telugu Desam’ programme in the town.

As he went from house to house in the Boyapeta area and tried to enter a house, one of his fans stepped into the house before the actor did. Irritated at the behaviour, Mr. Balakrishna allegedly slapped him and then entered the house as if nothing had happened.

A little later, Mr. Balakrishna left for the Bengaluru airport to reach Hyderabad.

The incident, however, caught the attention of the visual media.

Though none complained to the police, a few party functionaries said the high-handed behaviour of the actor could cost the party hugely in the long run.

They recalled that the actor had slapped a fan during campaigning in Nandyal last month and hit another during the shooting of his film.
