Baby Nayana of YSRC files papers for Vizianagaram LS

Ravu Venkata Swetha Chalapathi Kumar Krishna Ranga Rao alias Baby Nayana, the grandson of Raja Ravu Swetachalapathi Ramakrishna Ranga Rao (Justice Party), who was chief minister of Madras presidency from 1932 to 1936 and 1937, and member of A.P. Legislative Assembly for a term from 1967, filed two sets of nominations for Vizianagaram Parliamentary Constituency before Collector Kantilal Dande on Tuesday.

Mr. Baby Nayana who had served as Bobbili Municipal Chairperson for a term from 2005 is an agriculturist. He is contesting as a nominee of YSR Congress Party against TDP Polit Bureau member Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju. The Congress has re-nominated MP Botcha Jhansi Lakshmi.

According to affidavit submitted to the Returning Officer, Mr. Baby Nayana has total immovable assets worth Rs. 12,24, 42, 530 and in name of his spouse Venkata Silpa Ravu Rs. 1,30, 95,000, Movable assets in the name of Mr. Baby Nayana RS. 79, 18, 904, his spouse Rs. 59, 87,846 and dependents 39, 92, 528. Liabilities Rs. 1, 35, 91, 724 and his spouse has Rs. 2.75 lakhs. The total income shown in IT returns 2012-13 was Rs. 1, 43,37,365 and that of his spouse Rs. 10,05,300. Mr. Baby Nayana has three cars and a tractor, and his wife has a car. The value of vehicles shown in the affidavit is Rs. 50 lakhs.
