Minister asks officials to make proposals

Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas on Friday asked officials to prepare proposals for setting up an Ayush University in Visakhapatnam. Reviewing the activities of medical and heath department, he said health care services from primary health centre to district hospitals have to be improved and every paisa allocated in the budget as also the funds received from the Centre should be properly utilised. He said accountability should increase at all levels.

He also told the officials to ensure that outsourced and contract employees get their salaries along with regular employees. He said three nursing diploma colleges in Ayush would be established at Vijayawada, Kadapa and Kurnool.
