City-based organisation Academy of Grassroots Studies and Research of India (AGRASRI), will be conferring ‘Chittoor Zilla Centenary Visishta Ratna Award-2013’ to L. Venugopal Reddy, Chairman of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) on the eve of 104th Formation Day of Chittoor district.
Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council A. Chakrapani will present the award in a function on April 1. Former Assembly Speaker Agarala Eswara Reddi will release the Festschrift Souvenir in honour of Prof. Reddy.
Sri Venkateswara University vice-chancellor W. Rajendra will also take part. Prof. Reddy will deliver the 104th Chittoor District Formation Day Lecture on ‘Higher Education in Chittoor District: Achievements and Future Agenda for Inclusive Growth’ on this occasion.
