Indian Federation of Trade Unions (IFTU) and Aurobindo Pharma Employees Union alleged that the management was ‘harassing’ a section of employees with suspensions and arrests as they were fighting for pay revision and other benefits.

The unions have been organising protests at the main gate of the company for the last few days opposing the alleged ‘divide and rule’ policy of the government. The Unions also alleged that the company was trying to create tension and make police to arrest a few leaders. Union representatives S. Sanyasirao, S.Suryanarayana Raju, Keshav and Arjun said they sought the police department’s moral support for the protection of legitimate rights of employees.
