The Annual Athletic Meet - 2014-2015 of Sainik School, Korukonda, began here on Saturday. Inaugurating the meet, officiating principal Lt. Col. Praveen Kumar outlined the role of sports in academic life and how it helped students de-stress themselves, thereby building their stamina. He said failure was the stepping stone to success, and it should be considered as a natural phenomenon.
The four-day meet will conclude on Tuesday (December 23). More than 350 students will participate in the meet. Officiating registrar P. Siva Sankar and senior master G. Sarvaraydu were present.
