The BJP was represented by its floor leader P. Vishnu Kumar Raju.

YSRC leaders Jyothula Nehru and G. Srikanth Reddy, who attended the meeting, wanted the session to be held up to December 27, which was not accepted by the government.

It is learnt that the new capital region, drought, crop loan waiver for farmers, Hudhud cyclone and pensions were listed to be taken up during the session. On other issues which the Opposition wanted the House to take up, the government suggested that they could bring up them in a different format if the Speaker permitted.
