YSR Congress candidate from Ongole, Balineni Srinivasa Reddy has extended an invitation to the Congress MLAs to join his party claiming their admission would be considered in consultation with party president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy.
Speaking to reporters here on Friday after established a winning lead over his nearest TDP rival, Mr. Balineni hinted at the possibility of early Assembly elections as the people were vexed with the political uncertainty and were of the view that “earlier it goes is better.”
The results of the by-elections, he said, were a lesson to the Congress and the TDP and it would certainly impact the Government in the coming days. The outcome was on expected lines, he said.

Any one who gets mandate directly from the voters are to be congratulated in a democratic country. All educated graduates and post graduates are of the opinion that the state has been neglected and development is no where is to be seen. Ask any Industrialist, without hesitation, one gets an instant response that past is past, we are not any more interested to invest in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The party despite given a clear mandate is unable to consolidate it and does not have control. Even the Election Commission should bring changes and should see that parties which contest against each other should not be allowed to merge. The parties which contested with a coalition only should be allowed to merge in the best interest of the state and the people who participated in the in the voting process.
