Arrangements reviewed for beach festival

Collector Kartikeya Misra and Superintendent of Police Vishal Gunni on Tuesday held a meeting to review the traffic and parking arrangements for the three-day Kakinada Beach Festival scheduled to begin on December 19. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the annual event in which musical maestro A.R. Rahman will perform.

Mr. Misra highlighted the need for improving connectivity to the festival venue and making hassle-free arrangements for the public. He further said that special arrangements should be made on the traffic front on December 19 to ensure safe passage of the Chief Minister’s convoy and smooth flow of vehicular traffic . Joint Collector A. Mallikarjuna and other officials were present.
