The two-day property show of Andhra Pradesh Real Estate Developers Association (APREDA) concluded here on Sunday.
Though the Union Budget impacted the event with a thin turnout on the first day, with people remaining glued to TVs, there was a surge in the number of visitors by evening,” said a participant.
Good response
The organisers said the response was good. “More than 5,000 people would have visited the fair on the first day,” said APREDA Vijayawada chapter secretary S.V. Ramana.
Interestingly, the organisers announced that silver articles would be presented to visitors through a lucky draw. The organisers in all presented 12 silver gifts in two days.
57 stalls
As many as 57 stalls were put up at the show. Of this, 30 to 35 were of realtors and builders. Banks such as Andhra Bank, SBI and LIC Housing Finance Limited also put up stalls.
This was the first APREDA event in Andhra Pradesh post-bifurcation.
