The members of the APNGO, Nellore unit staged a protest at the District Collectorate here on Thursday against the State bifurcation.

Rollback sought on bifurcation

Taking strong exceptions to the Central government’s move to divide the State, the protesters raised slogans, demanding the withdrawal of the process. APNGOs Nellore District president Ch. Ravindra Babu said that they would continue the agitations the Centre announce a rollback on the State bifurcation. He deplored that the Central leadership was not moved by the prolonged agitations staged by the employees, teachers and students in Seemandhra region.

The APNGOs leaders warned the staff to get ready for another round of agitation as the government was not making efforts for preventing any harm to the employees and people of Seemandhra region. They opposed the visit of the Central Task Force to Hyderabad when deliberations were made with officials on the security matters.
