A delegation of APNGOs’ Association led by its president P. Ashok Babu met YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, separately, here on Sunday asking them to include the issues concerning the employees in their manifestoes.
The delegation requested Mr. Jagan to keep in mind the interests of employees while preparing the party manifesto as they would play a key role in the development of Andhra Pradesh. They urged the YSRC chief to pursue the issue of giving options to employees during their allotment to Telangana and AP States. Speaking to newspersons later, Mr. Ashok Babu stated that Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy had assured them of taking care of their welfare as his father Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy did. They had also suggested scrapping the contract/contingent employment system and regularisation of all such posts, issuance of health cards, and implementing Tenth Pay Revision Commission.
He asked all parties to respond on the issue of options to employees from AP area so that no loss was caused to them. They later met Mr. Chandrababu Naidu and secured similar assurance.
