The Andhra Pradesh government on Sunday relieved 44 of the 53 IAS officers, who have been allocated to Telangana State while retaining nine others pending clarification from the Government of India after some obtained stay orders and others sought swap.
While A. Vidya Sagar, Chevvuru Hari Kiran, Siva Sankar Lotheti and G. Srijana have obtained stay orders from the Central Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad Bench, to continue them in A.P. cadre, Ajay Prakash Sawhney, Ajay Jain, Anil Kumar Singhal and Siddharth Jain have sought a swap to A.P. cadre. Another suspended IAS officer Y. Srilakshmi also sought allotment to A.P. cadre.
IAS officers Among the 44 IAS officers, who have been relieved and asked to report before the TS Chief Secretary include S.P. Singh, M.G. Gopal, Ranjeev R. Acharya, Rameshwari Tiwari, Adhar Sinha, Arvind Kumar, Navin Mittal, M. Dana Kishore, G. Venkata Ram Reddy, Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Anita Rajendra, Syed Omer Jaleel, Neetu Kumari Prasad and D.S. Lokesh Kumar.
Four other officers – J.S.V. Prasad presently working in A.P. has been allowed in the same cadre till a final decision on allotment of his cadre is taken by the advisory committee. Similarly, A. Shanti Kumari (Central deputation), A. Vani Prasad and V. Karuna, have been allowed to work in TS cadre till the advisory committee takes a decision.
IPS officers The A.P. government also relieved 23 IPS officers who were allocated to TS. They include T.P. Das, A.K. Khan, Sudeep Lakhtakia, M. Gopi Krishna, J. Purnachandra Rao, K. Sreenivasa Reddy, V.V. Srinivasa Rao, K.Venugopala Rao, T. Muralikrishna, M. Stephen Raveendra, P. Pramod Kumar and A. Satyanarayana.
Anuradha (IPS), who was provisionally allocated to TS, has not been relieved as she applied for allotment to A.P. cadre on spouse grounds. M. Siva Prasad has been allowed to work in TS cadre till a final decision is taken by the advisory committee.
M. Malakondaiah has been kept in full additional charge of the post of Anti-Corruption Bureau and R.P. Thakur, Additional DGP in full additional charge of the post of DG and ex-officio Principal Secretary to government, General Administration (Vigilance & Enforcement) Department until further orders.
IFS officers The government also relieved 30 Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers, who were allocated to TS cadre. They include A.K. Srivastava, R. Sundaravadan, D. K. Pandey, K.P. Srivasuki, P. Madhusudhana Rao, P.K. Jha, Manorajan Bhanja, M. Prudhvi Raju and Kanwarjit Singh. Chandan Mitra has been allowed to work in TS cadre until a final decision is taken by the advisory committee.

Bala Maya Devi, Anita Ramachandran, K. Nirmala, Gaurav Uppal, Parvathi Subramanian, Akunuri Murali, Rajat Kumar Saini, B. Bharathi Lakpathi Naik, B. Vijiendra, K.Y. Naik, P. Venkata Rami Reddy, Bharati Hollikeri, Harchandana Dasari, Alagu Varsini V.S., K. Shashanka, Adwait Kumar Singh and Sridevasena Allamraju.
The IPS officers allocated to Telangana who have been relieved are: Vikram Jeet Duggal, Tafseer Iqbal, B. Naveen Kumar, S.J. Janardhan, B. Sumati, M. Srinivasulu, Sunpreet Singh, Kalmeshwar Singenavar, Vishnu S Warrier, Viswajit Kampati and Chetna Myalabhutala.
The IFS officers are: Chandra B. Malasi, R.U. Kashappa, R. Sobha, Munindra, Rakesh Mohan Dobriyal, Lokesh Jayaswal, Sunil Kumar Gupta, Mohan Chandra Pargaien, Sidhanand Kukreti, C. Suvarna, Ashok Kumar Sinha, Vinay Kumar, Sunita J. Mahesh Bhagwat, C. Saravanan, B. Srinivas, P. Subba Raghavaiah, Shivani Dogra, S. Shantaram, Sivala Ram Babu and Thirumala Ravi Kiran.
