AP Minister's son dies in road accident

Andhra Pradesh State Minister for Municipal Administration P. Narayana’s son Nitish Narayana and the latter’s friend Ravi Varma died in a road accident at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad in the early hours of Wednesday.

Nitish and his friend were going in a car and crossed Jubilee Hills check-post around 3 a.m. when it rammed into Metro Rail pillar no. 9 on road no. 36. Both were rushed to Apollo hospital where doctors declared them dead.

Senior Hyderabad police officials visited the spot. AP Deputy Chief Minister Chinna Rajappa expressed his shock over the accident. The bodies were at Apollo hospital.

Nitish was the Director for the Narayana group of educational institutions owned by the Minister.
