Endowments Commissioner Y.V. Anuradha took charge as in charge Executive Officer (EO) of the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam here on Sunday. She will be overseeing the temple affairs until the government appoints a regular EO. Temple priests and Vaidic committee welcomed her following temple procedures. The government relieved A. Surya Kumari from here duties as EO following the row over the alleged midnight tantrik rituals in the temple recently and to “facilitate a proper inquiry.”
