ANU bags DRDO project

Acharya Nagarjuna University has been awarded a project by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on ‘Design and development of CDMA transceiver,’ dean of ANU College of Engineering and Principal Investigator P. Siddhaiah said here on Friday.

The project has been designed to improve communication and designs software using field-programmable gate array (FPGA).

Dr. Siddahiah said that software would help build a special code in military transmissions which cannot be hacked by enemy defence establishments and would provide a secure gate array in military transmissions.

He thanked the Vice-Chancellor K.V. Rao and Registrar P. Raja Sekhar for encouraging major research projects in the university.
