Andhra Pradesh minister denies charges

Andhra Pradesh Primary Education Minister S. Sailajanath has been named in the sting operation carried out by Cobrapost.com in which he reportedly assures to stand as guarantee for the safety of a certain amount of money to be invested in a real estate project.

Mr. Sailajanath, however, refuted allegations that he was involved in any act which could be termed as money laundering or that he stood guarantee for a Rs. 25 crore-loan. Replying to a question, he said that he was a victim of a conspiracy and added that the truth would come out soon.
