Amara Raja released a special partnership edition battery ‘Amaron Hilife Novo’ as part of its 32nd foundation day celebrations at its head office in Tirupati on Wednesday. The special product will be made available exclusively at Amaron pit stops and comes with special privilege offers, including unlimited warranty.

The group’s founder chairman Ramachandra N. Galla released the battery along with Johnson Controls (USA) Chairman and CEO George R. Oliver. The event was themed ‘Powering partnership’, on the 20 years of joint venture between the two groups. ARBL launched a coffee table book capturing memories of its journey with Johnson Controls.

Mr. Galla attributed the journey’s success to the efforts of the employees and assured to strive for excellence in performance for the betterment of the society. While tracing its growth from the grassroots to becoming a world class company, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Jayadev Galla saw a future full of opportunities, guided by aspirational growth targets.

Johnson Controls team, led by Mr. Oliver, comprised of nine members of Global and Asia Pacific (APAC) leadership teams from Shanghai (China), Singapore and Milwaukee (USA), including Joe Walicki, President (Power solutions) and Trent Nevill, President (Asia Pacific).
