‘Adopt technical skills for betterment of society’

At the symposium conducted by the Department Electronics and Electrical Engineering, JNTU (K) College of Engineering, here on Wednesday, Material Manager of Visakhapatnam Port Trust V. Veerabhadra Rao asked engineering students to learn technical skills and adopt them for betterment of society. Inaugurating the symposium, he felt that EEE students are in good demand and asked them to face the challenges boldly. G. Yesu Ratnam, Principal of the college, said that participation in such symposiums would help students develop communication and technical skills. Later, technical quiz, met lab workshop, circuit tricks, creative ideas, paper presentation etc were conducted at the symposium. About 150 students from various engineering colleges attended. Dr. K. Sarat Kumar Sahu of MVGR College of Engineering and Dr. N.V.A. Ravi Kumar of Avanthi Polytechnic College acted as judges at the symposium.
