‘Accord priority to sanitation in hospitals’

Siddha makes a surprise visit to DSR Government Hospital

Minister for Transport and Road and Buildings Siddha Raghava Rao on Wednesday instructed the officials to take utmost care with regard to maintenance of good sanitation and cleanliness in government hospitals.

During his surprise visit to the DSR Government Hospital here, Mr. Raghava Rao went round the premises and checked the out-patient counter, lab, X-ray unit, pharmacy, registrations counter, pathology, biotechnology and other departments.

Hospital Development Committee chairman Chatla Narasimha Rao, Superintendent Dr. Bharathi and other officials were present. During his visit to the wards, Mr. Raghava Rao enquired from the patients about the facilities being extended to them.
