ACB raid on Motor Vehicle Inspector

Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted raids on the properties of Motor Vehicle Inspector Y. Sudhakar Reddy and reportedly seized property worth Rs. 2 crore disproportionate to his known sources of income, on Friday.

The ACB raids continued at a building owned by Mr. Reddy in Magunta Layout area and also in some other places.

Documents relating to 65 acres of land spread over nine places in Nellore, Prakasam and other districts were among the material seized, it is learnt. Besides this, the MVI was found to have acquired 20 plots, two apartment flats and 1 kg gold.

The ACB sleuths also seized Rs. 1.75 cash from the MVI’s possession. Searches were continuing during night also.
