It is not just actor Nitin who is looking forward to this film being accepted by audiences. Director Trivikram Srinivas too is looking forward to people patronising his next release, A…Aa , the audio of which is to be released in the presence of Pawan Kalyan on Monday evening.
Ask him to describe what his film starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nitin is all about, and a normally reserved Srinivas just says it is an attempt to go back to one’s roots. “Sometimes, on a creative journey, we tend to lose sight of our own natural elements. This is an attempt to get our moorings back,” is all he reveals , when contacted.
Amidst the hustle and bustle that a filmmaker goes through, during post-production work and probably a fortnight before it hits the screens, the director unabashedly says that this complete, family entertainer would attract audiences across all age groups.
Does it have action, bloody and gory fights and stuff like that ? “Nope. Not at all, and it does not have an item number too. But it has five songs that would be pure melody and something that would appeal to people. Music director Mickey J. Meyer has done a good job,” he added.
All right, so what’s A…Aa about ? It is about the heroine Anusuya Ramalingam and the hero Anand Vihari. It is nothing out of the ordinary, but a normal story that is presented differently is what a technician connected with the script says.
When prodded, the technician —who did not want to be identified — said it is a story that would be like ‘told nothing, said everything’.
“It is one of the simplest films that anyone can make. I am reminded of the line that it is easy to be extraordinary, but difficult to be ordinary. I felt it in this project,” he said, adding that Director of Photography Nataraj Subramaniyan had done a commendable job.
Suryadevara Radhakrishna, who has produced the film on the banner of ‘Haarika and Hassine Creations’, says he is happy to be associated with the project and expressed confidence that the romantic family entertainer would be a visual treat for audiences this summer.
Others in the cast include Nadiya, Ananya, Eeshwari Rao, Sana, Giri Babu, Posani Krishna Murali, Naresh, Rao Ramesh, Avasarala Srinivas, Praveen, Raghu Babu and Srinivas Reddy.
