A new hangout for pizza connoisseurs

Pizza connoisseurs, craving for a delicious slice of the Italian treat in the temple city, can now call off their search.

‘The Hangout’, a local pizzeria established in collaboration with New York Fried Chicken and Pizza (NYFCP), has opened its doors to the locals, who have been denied of a proper place to enjoy the world famous flat-breads.

The outlet, spread over a sprawling 4000 square feet with a typical cosmopolitan look, boasts of a wide variety of pizzas supplemented by a robust a-la-carte menu for the discerning foodies. It also offers an array of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes including garlic breads, burgers, fried chicken, salads, coffee, milk shakes and desserts.

Standing true to its title, a separate gaming zone comprising of several arcade and video games has been set up to offer complete entertainment.

“Tirupati being a major pilgrimage destination, has been devoid of quality food outlets. Even the existing ones have limited space, cramming all the customers under one roof. Hence, we wanted to create an exclusive space for people, so that they can interact with their friends and family,” said Krishna Raghavan, proprietor of The Hangout.

The outlet was inaugurated on Friday by cine actress Regina Cassandra and is located on AIR Bypass Road.
