A barbaric act, says Kiran

Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy on Sunday condemned the brutal attack by Maoists on Congress leaders in Chhattisgarh on Saturday. He expressed shock and anguish at the killing of several Congress leaders and policemen.

In a statement, the Chief Minister said it was heinous to attack innocent people and leaders working for the welfare of the people in a democracy. The barbaric act should be condemned by one and all, he said. He expressed his condolences to the bereaved family members of Chhattisgarh PCC chief and others who were killed in the ambush.
