Top singer contest to tap budding talent in State

VIJAYAWADA:Shanoos Media, Department of Culture and Language, Government of Andhra Pradesh in association with the Culture Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati will organise top singer contest, a State-level singing competition to promote budding singers in the State.

Director of the Department of Culture and Language Vizia Bhaskar on Saturday said the event would help youngsters showcase their talent and get the much-desired exposure.

Chief Executive Officer of Culture Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati E. Siva Nagi Reddy said the event was a boon to the talented singers from rural areas as they can get instant recognition.

Entry fee

The three zone singing competitions will begin at Visakha Jala Udhyanavanam at Visakhpatnam from January 22 followed by Tirupathi and final at Vijayawada on April 2017. Entry fee is Rs. 500 per participant.
