Five pensioners hurt in stampedeat bank

KURNOOL: Five pensioners sustained minor injuries in a stampede at State Bank of India main branch at Badvel in Kadapa district on Monday.

Depositors and pensioners in large numbers gathered at the SBI main branch and rushed into the bank when the main gate was opened. Five pensioners fell down and suffered minor injuries in the melee. Lack of police bandobust was said to have caused the incident.
