The Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and Udacity, a U.S.-based learning platform, signed an MoU to facilitate skill development programmes to students.

In a release, it is stated that the APSSDC has selected five Udacity Nanodegree Programmes including Android Developer, Machine Learning Engineer, Front End Web Developer, Intro to Programming and Full Stack Web Developer. Students can pursue them as per their choice to enhance their skills.

Pilot programme

“The Nanodegree programmes will benefit the students by making them job ready. The APSSDC is encouraging the students to pursue these programmes by providing mentors in the colleges to guide the students and also bearing part of the course fee. A pilot programme with a target of 1,000 has been launched and we are hopeful to meet the target by March 2018,” APSSDC Managing Director and CEO Mr. K. Sambasiva Rao said in the release.

World-class content

These programmes feature world-class content co-created by tech giants like Google, Kaggle, Amazon and AT&T with industry-relevant projects, project reviews, mentorship and Udacity career services.
