4G services to be rolledout in three phases: CM

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday said 4G services would be rolled out in three phases and directed Reliance executives to study the feasibility of rolling them out by April 2015.

Reliance executives Rajiv Luthra and Raghu Raja met the Chief Minister at Secretariat on Friday and informed him that Reliance has 502 cell phone towers in the State. They sought permission to upgrade these cell phone towers to 4G. Following this, the Chief Minister directed DGP J.V. Ramudu to ensure the required permissions were granted.
