Three days after the double tragedy struck the family of Venna Prasad Reddy in Philadelphia city of Pennsylvania State in the USA, members of the family remain in a state of shock.

The family has lost a caring mother, Venna Satyavathi (61), who was slain by unidentified persons on Monday afternoon, and their bundle of joy, 10-month-old Saanvi, had been abducted.

Meanwhile, investigating agencies in the United States of America, Citizen Crime Mission of Delaware Valley, Upper Merion Township Police, The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office and the Telugu Association of North America (TANA) have announced a $ 30,000 reward for any information leading to the whereabouts of Saanvi.

The news of the tragedy was broken by the distraught family members to Venna Konda Reddy, who has been staying with his daughter in an apartment in Brodipet. “We have no information till now about the whereabouts of Saanvi. The police had not handed over the body of my mother-in-law until Wednesday. The family at Philadelphia has moved to a relatives’ place as the police have started an investigation into the incident. We are hoping for the safe return of our little one,” Srinivasa Reddy, son-in-law of Venna Konda Reddy, said.
