In a tragic incident, a three-year-old boy, Raghava, was crushed to death when he came under the wheels of a school bus on the outskirts of Puttur town on Tuesday morning.
The boy was crossing the road at Kalyanapuram on the outskirts along with his parents when a school bus on its way to Puttur crushed him to death. Driving at a high speed the school bus driver, at the sharp curve, could not control the vehicle, which is said to be the reason for accident.
The boy's parents were daily wage labourers. The body was shifted to area hospital for autopsy. The police arrested the driver and seized the bus.
