20 taluks declared flood-hit in Andhra Pradesh

The Guntur district Administration has declared 20 talukas along the 300 km flooded Krishna river as flood-effected areas with consequent benefits to the victims.

The victims around 1,60,423 are eligible for re-schedule of payment of bank debts, fresh credit, agricultural input subsidies, compensation to dwelings damaged and free rice and Kerosene, the official said.
