2 rail agents held for bulk bookings

The Railway Protection Force personnel nabbed two travel agents for allegedly carrying out illegal business and seized equipment, material and cash, all valued at Rs.2.5 lakh, from them on Sunday. S. Bala Nageswara Rao, was in the business of booking rail tickets for nearly two decades.

He was nabbed twice in the past on two earlier occasions for indulging in unauthorised ticket bookings, according to RPF Inspector B. Ramu. He teamed up with another agent P. Demudu and was indulging in bulk bookings and reportedly even hacking the railway website.
