In keeping with the decision of Wednesday's all-party meeting, an all-party delegation will begin its visit to Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
Sources in the government said the delegation was expected to pay a two-day visit, meeting leaders of political parties and different sections of society.
Composition
The delegation is likely to include Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal and one representative each of the political parties that participated in the all-party meeting.
As many as 39 parties attended the meeting.
The feedback from the delegation would form an important input for the Centre to evolve its response to various issues relating to the State, a statement issued after Wednesday's meeting said.
It also noted that the Constitution provided for “ample scope to accommodate any legitimate political demand through dialogue, civil discourse and peaceful negotiations.”
