Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has donated over ₹1 crore to the families of 12 CRPF personnel who were killed in a Maoist ambush in Chhattisgarh last week. The actor had approached the Union Home Ministry soon after the incident and sought details of the families of the slain jawans to make the donation.
