A Muslim body on Sunday appealed to the community to respect the court verdict on Ayodhya title suit expected on September 24.

Urging the community to maintain peace on the verdict day, acting general secretary of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Rahim Qureshi, said the body is seized of the matter and will do whatever necessary to protect the interest of Muslims within the framework of Constitution.

“There was no need to react even the verdict goes against us. Still we have option to approach the Supreme Court,” Mr. Qureshi, who is also spokesman of the Board, told PTI here.
