Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader L.K. Advani on Thursday found himself in a bit of spot over where to sit in the Lok Sabha.

He initially made his way to the second row of the treasury benches but was persuaded by Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu to sit in the front row, along with Home Minister Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.

However, in the afternoon, he chose to sit in the eighth row of the second block of seats to watch members take oath. As he was the only party senior in the House at that juncture, BJP MPs made a beeline for him to seek his blessings.
