Maharashtra Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat on Monday said the judicial commission probing the Adarsh Society scam had not issued any interim report yet.
Mr. Thorat told the Assembly that while it was expected that the commission would submit an interim report it had not yet done so.
In response to queries from the Opposition about the progress of the commission, Mr. Thorat said the Income Tax authorities were enquiring into the assets of 103 flat owners. In regard to witnesses from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), he said one witness was summoned by the Commission and the government could not really interfere with respect to whom the commission wished to examine.
The two-member commission was appointed in January and began its work in April.
