Former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was discharged from the Army Research and Referral Hospital in New Delhi on Wednesday night.

82-year-old Dr. Kalam was admitted to the hospital a few days ago after he complained of uneasiness, flu and high fever at his Rajaji Marg residence. On discharge, doctors advised him not to undertake any travel for at least ten days.

“Various medical investigations revealed that his vital parameters are normal. Dr. Kalam has resumed his routine activities,” an official in the former President's office said.
