Even as the Aam Aadmi Party is strapped for funds in the run-up to the Gurdaspur byelection, the party believes it has succeeded in conveying its message to the masses through volunteers.
AAP Punjab co-president Aman Arora said the party faced funds shortage, but it would be incorrect to say that the central leadership was not giving the State unit enough financial support. “Our core strength is volunteers... We have not organised any big rally or roadshow, but we have been successful in conveying our ideology to the people,” he said.
