“Milord, we thank you.” That, in a nutshell, was the Bharatiya Janata Party's comment on the Supreme Court order directing the Centre to set up a special investigation team to probe black money stashed away by Indians in foreign banks.
The court's observations and order were a “slap in the face of the government.” This was because of its “consistent failure” to effectively address the problem, said BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar.
Asked why political parties were not interested in talking about or dealing with the issue of black money, he said the BJP would welcome a law declaring all black money, kept in India or abroad, “national wealth.”

UPA government has been showing passive attitude towards this issue of black-money. Feared many of its leaders are defaulters. People of India consider Hon'ble Supreme Court as our supreme 'guardians' if the government in power as Executive are not people friendly and or whose policies are prone to rampant corruption which ultimately lead to bankruptcy and poverty for the nation. UPA government must be made guilty of having ignored stashing of black-money abroad, and not bringing the defaulters to public attention and proceed with criminal proceedings against them. There nation-wide resentment against UPA government. Anna Hazare and Baba Ramdev have done noble survice for awakening the people of India that India has been 'burgled' by corrupt politicians, where-upon it is evident that poverty and starvation for Indian masses is going to stay.
I will agree to Mr. Ravi Shanker Prasad's view, as seen on NDTV that, "BJP under Advani repeatedly kept stating to investigate the account holders (holding black money in Swiss Banks), and bring back that ill-gotten wealth." They could not proceed much further as International laws were not as friendly as they have become under the current administration's first term. I remember Advani repeatedly talking about it in Parliament, as seen in print, and visual media. For some reason quite a few of our brethren, including the media is putting all political parties in the same basket for all cases. Let's look at each case for that concerned political party 'objectively', rather than just give general statements. Regarding bringing back black money i will certainly give more credit to our Principal opposition than to the current Government. At least they have taken a stance against it. Congress or the Central Government still has to define a stance.
