“A sign of BJP’s collapse”

CPI(M) general secretary Prakash Karat on Wednesday said the expulsion of Jaswant Singh from the BJP over the controversy triggered by his book on Pakistan founder Mohammad Ali Jinnah was a “sign of collapse” of the saffron party.

“The BJP has now expelled one of its national leaders. This is a sign of the collapse of the party after its drubbing in the Lok Sabha polls,” he said at a rally here.
