January 17, 2017 12:41 am | Updated 12:41 am IST - NEW DELHI:

Lance Naik Yagya Pratap who expressed his grievance through a video on social media has been shifted to Bareilly Military Hospital (BMH) as he was showing aggressive behaviour after abstaining from food, the Army said on Monday.

Army officials said that Mr. Pratap had been posted at Rajput Regimental Centre, Fategarh from December 21, 2016 and since January 14 had abstained from food and was showing aggressive behaviour.

“To monitor his parameters, the individual was shifted to BMH on January 16, 2017 as requisite medical facilities do not exist at Fategarh,” the Army said in a statement.

The Rajput Regimental Centre has asked his wife to stay with him.
