Arguments on the framing of charges in the 2G spectrum allocation case are likely to begin in the special court on July 11.

To a question from defence counsel Majid Memon on the tentative schedule for the case, Special Judge O.P. Saini said on Tuesday that the arguments on the framing of charges could begin on July 11.

Mr. Saini warned the prosecution as well as the defence that the court could impose a fine if the scrutiny and supply of documents were not completed at the earliest.

Some of the accused, including the former Union Communications Minister, A. Raja, moved applications demanding that the CBI give them all documents submitted along with the charge sheet, including those on which the prosecution did not rely.

Mr. Saini will decide on the matter on Wednesday.
