24 CBI officers honoured

Twenty-four Central Bureau of Investigation officers have been conferred with distinguished and meritorious service medals on the occasion of Independence Day this year.

The President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service has been awarded to Joint Director Keshav Kumar, Assistant Director N.S. Kharayat, Superintendent of Police Javed Siraj, Additional Superintendent of Police Ravinder Singh Jaggi, Inspectors Jeet Singh and Rajender Kumar Gaur.

Deputy Inspectors General Arun Bothra, R. Hitendra, Hiren C. Nath and Sanjay Kumar Singh; Additional Superintendant of Police S. Jaikumar, Deputy Superintendents of Police Santosh Kumar, Diptendu Bhattacharya and Rajesh Chahal; Inspectors Jagdish Prasad, Shailendra Pratap Singh, Ravi Kant Jain, B. B. Tiwari and Rajeev Chandola; Sub-Inspectors L. N. Murthy and C. V. Pujari; Assistant Sub-Inspector S. P. B. Kharkongor; and Head Constables Kusum Pal Singh and M. Chandrasekhar have been conferred the Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
