16 CBI officers charged with corruption in last 3 years: Govt

The Central Bureau of Investigation has over the past three years booked 16 of its own officials on charges of corruption, misappropriation and leaking of sensitive official documents to a private company.

The agency last year registered a case against unknown CBI officials, Zoom Developers Private Limited and its director Vijay Madanlal Choudhary for allegedly leaking confidential official documents of the CBI’s banking and security fraud cell office in Mumbai, as per a Department of Personnel and Training reply in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday.
