Ten people were killed and 12 others injured in separate incidents of house collapse triggered by a dust storm in the district.
Police said four people were killed when a house collapsed in Saidpur tehsil while three others died in a similar incident at Jamunia village during the storm late on Saturday night.
Two persons were killed in Ghazipur Sadar and one person in Mohamdabad. Police said 12 people were injured as the houses collapsed.
The storm uprooted trees and electric poles affecting movement of traffic in different parts of the district, police said adding power supply and communication were also disrupted.
