Kolkata, Circa 1912: A rare photographic discovery


These images are from a century-old collection discovered in the archive of the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland (RCAHMS). A hundred and seventy eight negatives were found in a shoebox, wrapped in copies of The Statesman newspaper dating from 1914, the Commission adds.
