World's tallest man looking for love

A Turkish man has been officially named as the tallest man in the world, but he says his height often makes him unattractive to girls. The 27-year-old Sultan Kosen is 8ft 1inch tall and has 11-inch wide hands and 15-inch wide feet.

He was crowned the world’s tallest man at the London launch of the 2010 edition of Guinness World Records.

Sultan says he grew abnormally because of a pituitary gland disorder, which has also forced him to use crutches to walk.

Sultan has been longing for a ladylove and has brighter hopes now that he is famous.

The Daily Express quoted him as saying: “The first thing I want to do is have a car that I can fit in but more than that I want to get married,” he said. “I’ve never had a girlfriend. They were usually scared of me. I’m hoping now that I am famous I will be able to meet lots of girls.” However, being tall can certainly help.

“I can change light bulbs and hang curtains without needing a ladder,” he added.
